Plain Country Friends, a choice of three short walks, either ¾ mile, 1½ miles or 3 miles in length, best explored at a gentle stroll, linking the historic High Flatts 'Quaker Village' and Upper Denby.

 Denby and Cumberworth Circular Trail, this trail is 7 miles long.

  Ruins & Rebuilds, A pleasant and very scenic circular walk
of about 5½ miles from the Dunkirk Inn, Lower Denby, visiting the Gunthwaite area with the option of taking in the famous barn at Gunthwaite Hall.

 NEW, The Lower Cumberworth Circular, A leisurely 3¼ mile walk which nonetheless offers much variety along with a taste of the Kirklees Way, the Dearne Way, a historic stone causeway and beautiful woodlands. Just one step-over stile and two short climbs. The shorter route is an inviting hour-long family stroll.

NEW, The Denby Dawdle. This is a wonderfully scenic 5 mile trail on footpaths through fields, woodland, conservation land, taking in Denby Delf nature reserve, the upper Dearne woodlands and the historic Quaker village at High Flatts. The route follows the annual Denby Dash running race. An optional extension near the start adds 0.6 miles to the trail.
